For shelters, food banks and agencies
People find you on Glean already: the directory lists shelters, food banks and crisis centres from Google Maps. Verified organizations can add what Google can’t know, and do it from the front desk.
Beds tonight, live
Publish how many beds are free and when doors open. Update it with one click as they fill; the phone apps and this site show it straight away, with the time of your last update.
Surplus to partners
Have 40 meals or three pallets you can’t use? Offer them to other verified organizations in your city. One claims it, and a handoff code confirms the right people picked it up.
Help sheets and a widget
Print a one-page list of nearby help for people without a phone, or put a live “help near you” box on your own website. These need no account.
How verification works
- 1
Create a Glean account with your organization’s email, then open the organization dashboard.
- 2
Apply from the dashboard. It sends us your organization’s name, registration number and public phone number.
- 3
A person calls that public number to confirm it’s you, usually within a few working days. Then the dashboard opens up.
